Included with every order
With the Medilink® Dispensing and Home Delivery Service, you can order any make of stoma and/or continence appliance available on NHS prescription and we will include complimentary disposal bags and dry wipes. These stoma care accessories are dispensed with every order, unless requested otherwise. Both items come in packs of 30.
Disposal Bags
Disposal bags give you a discreet, hygienic way to get rid of a used appliance, whether you are at home or out for the day. They are opaque, so the contents stay private, and they seal to contain any odour until you can dispose of them.
Dry wipes
Dry wipes are useful for cleaning and drying the skin around your stoma during a change, and for wiping down your appliance. They are dry rather than pre-moistened, so they leave no residue behind that could affect how well your baseplate sticks.

Curved Scissors
If you use a cut-to-fit appliance,and prefer to cut your own bags, curved scissors make preparing your baseplate far easier. The curved blades follow the outline of your stoma naturally, which helps you cut a closer, smoother shape than straight scissors allow. A good fit protects the surrounding skin and reduces the risk of leaks.
Hygienic Hand Wet Wipes
Hygienic hand wet wipes let you clean your hands before and after a bag change when a sink is not close by. They are handy to keep in a bag, a car or a desk drawer, and they are one of the simplest ways to stay comfortable and confident while you are out and about.
A Mirror
A small mirror helps you see your stoma clearly while you are fitting an appliance, which is particularly useful if your stoma sits low on the abdomen or is difficult to view directly. Being able to check the position of your baseplate before it makes contact with your skin gives you a better seal first time and saves wasting supplies.
Hand Sanitiser
Hand sanitiser is a quick, practical option for keeping your hands clean when soap and water are not available. It is a useful thing to carry for travel, work, days out and anywhere you may need to change at short notice.

No Waiting 'Priority' Toilet Card
The Medilink® No Waiting ‘Priority’ Card is a discreet way to let others know you have a medical condition and might need to use the toilet facilities urgently. Credit card-sized, it’s really handy to keep in your wallet or purse and also includes your Medilink® Personal Number for easy reference.
For added reassurance when travelling, the card is available in several languages, including Croatian, German, French, Turkish, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Arabic.

RADAR key
Not all disabilities or chronic conditions are visible. If you live with a stoma and/or a continence condition, a RADAR key (made available by Disability Rights UK) can help you access many locked public toilet facilities across the UK.
These accessible toilets are designed to give you more space, privacy and time, helping you feel more comfortable and less rushed when you’re out and about. They usually contain a lavatory, washbasin, mirror and shelf.

Travel Certificate
A Medilink® Travel Certificate explains that you have a medical condition and need to carry your stoma or continence supplies with you. It is useful at airport security and border control, so you don’t have to explain your situation in detail, and gives you a written reference to show if you are asked about the contents of your hand luggage
Medilotion
Medilotion is a skin lotion, which is exclusively distributed by Medilink® as a complimenting item. It helps you fight the sore and irritated skin around the stoma. We always recommend you ask your Stoma Care Nurse for advice before requesting it.
Please note: Not to be used continuously, only used for short periods.

‘Pocket’ size washbag
This water-resistant wash bag comes in very handy when packing your supplies.
Once opened, this discreet wash bag has a hook on the inside which allows you to hang it on any toilet door, making life easier when changing your appliance.
It can be carried discreetly in a pocket or handbag, giving you peace of mind.
