My Medilink Journey

Having lived with Ulcerative Colitis for many years, Jess experienced a flare up with extensive and unmanageable symptoms.  This reached a point where she was unable to tolerate food, fluids or even roll over in bed.  Biological treatments were trialled and unfortunately failed, resulting in emergency ileostomy surgery.  

Working as a Specialist Palliative Care Occupational Therapist, Jess knows all too well the importance of choice. In her My Medilink^® video, Jess speaks candidly about how those living with a stoma often feel choice isn’t an option, so much is out of your control.  Yet Medilink^® makes her feel safe and comfortable and she is so pleased with her choice – she wouldn’t change her service.
